One of the most anticipated new books about life at Apple post-Steve Jobs is about to be released. “Haunted Empire: Apple After Steve Jobs” arrives tomorrow, March 18.
Written by former Wall Street Journal reporter Yukari Iwatani Kane, “Haunted Empire” is based on more than 200 hundred interviews with current and former executives, business partners, and so called “Apple watchers,” according to thebook’s description page put out by publisher HarperCollins.
It continues, “Haunting Empire” “delves deep inside Apple in the two years since Steve Jobs’s death, revealing the tensions and challenges CEO Tim Cook and his team face as they try to sustain Jobs’s vision and keep the company moving forward.”
I haven’t read “Haunted Empire,” but plan to do so this week. For an early review, I’d suggest The Guardian’s recent post, “Haunted Empire review – great title, shame about the contents.”
